The weather may not be great, but it’s been really nice to have a spacious studio to embrace a more intimate/lifestyle portrait session for pregnant mamas who don’t feel like braving to cold and drizzle. This session is particularly dear to me because I photographed M’s first pregnancy and little Carmen as a newborn. Growing families are my favorite <3
Maternity session clients can choose to borrow a fancy gown, or wear their own T-shirts and jeans. Either way, the goal is that the session feels like *you*, is timeless, and will allow you to look back and remember what it was like to be waiting on baby. I usually recommend these sessions take place between 32-34 weeks, but every body is different and they can really be done at any time period along the way you’d like.

I love this style of natural beautiful backlit maternity portraits, very intimate. I have been photographing maternity myself for a while, and I would love to do more backlit images, especially with family included. Lovely work!
