About Erin
It’s hard to put into words how lucky I feel to be able to create art for a living; to see the families I photograph grow over the years. I am, at my core “born in the wrong century” as I like to say; my life centers around creating in all aspects. If you don’t see me at my fully stocked photography studio next to Kiggins Theater in downtown Vancouver WA, you might find me down the street teaching sculpture/ceramics at the local pottery studio, at home sewing clothes in my attic, redesigning rooms in my home, or making jewelry with my two daughters who are now 12 + 16. I’m also an avid gardener and spend a lot of my summers giving everyone I know tomatoes and peppers whether they like it or not. Then come fall, you’ll find me in the forest hunting chanterelles…
I started this journey when I was “young dumb and broke” and have turned it into a life for myself- I have been lucky enough to have had the amazing experience of teaching photography all over the world from Scotland to Argentina and many places in between. 15+ years of loving on the people who come into my life through photography… I’m here for it.. My keen eye for light and detail has enabled me to be the choice in Portland + Vancouver for the most discerning of clients and I’m not about ticking off something on your to-do list- I want to preserve all the little details you just might forget and we’re gonna have fun doing it.
I have two weird cats (follow me on insta if you like cats who look like Adam Driver) and a couple dogs too. Life has thrown me some curveballs the last few years and I am ready to get back up and show em’ what I’m about. I’m not super PC on insta (or …. in real life?) but I love following my clients and seeing everyone grow up.
